What is SCENAR?
SCENAR Therapy is a revolutionary therapeutic medical modality that utilizes computer-modulated interactive electro-stimulation to prompt the body to heal itself. The SCENAR (Self Controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulator) is a hand-held, therapeutic medical device (ARTG 101783). The SCENAR is licensed by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration to treat pain and physiological dysfunction.
Why is SCENAR different?
SCENAR therapy is different from other therapeutic stimulation because of the type of electronic stimulation it produces The SCENAR device interacts with the body through the skin to precisely and simultaneously locate, measure and treat problem areas (asymmetries) to help relieve pain and restore function.
Where is SCENAR from?
SCENAR was initially developed by doctors and scientists within the Russian space programme in the late 1970s to cope with the unique problems of space travel. Today SCENAR is a mainstream medical modality in Russia and there it has very many applications. SCENAR eventually was introduced in many other countries around the world and is now available in Australia.
How does SCENAR work?
Our health relies on the continuous exchange of information within the body. Every function of the body is inter-related and works in harmony with other functions - that is until stress, injury or disease disrupt that communication. The SCENAR communicates with all functions of the body through direct contact on the skin, tuning into the body’s inner communication, and understanding the body’s needs from the signals being sent back and forth. The SCENAR responds to these signals accordingly with gentle electrical impulses that communicate with the nervous system to stimulate the body’s own healing process.
This process used by the SCENAR is called Reflex Biofeedback, which is an ongoing, reflex conversation that proceeds in real-time, at biological speed and requires no conscious mental activity.
The SCENAR device sends out a series of electrical signals through the skin and measures the response. Each signal is only sent out when a change, in response to the previous signal, is recorded in the electrical properties of the skin. Visible responses include reddening of the skin, numbness, stickiness (the device will have the feeling of being magnetically dragged), a change in the numerical readout and an increase in the electronic clattering sound of the device. The C-fibres, which comprise 85% of all nerves in the body, react most readily to the electro-stimulation and are responsible for the production of neuropeptides and other regulatory peptides.
The body can get accustomed to a stable pathological state, which may have been caused by injury, or disease. The SCENAR acts as a catalyst to stimulate the C-fibres to produce regulatory peptides for the body to use where necessary. It is these neuropeptides that in turn re-establish the body's natural physiological state and are responsible for the healing process. As these peptides last up to several hours, the healing process will continue long after the treatment is over.
What conditions can SCENAR treat?
SCENAR gives pain relief. The effectiveness of SCENAR Therapy for pain relief is substantial and lasts longer than other pain control methods. A randomized control trial was carried out by Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. This trial used an ENAR (SCENAR Personal device) versus a conventional TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator) machine. The personal SCENAR produced “dramatic and sustained results” with chronic pain reduction, functional improvements and general health restoration. By comparison, the TENS machine results were only marginally better than giving no treatment at all.
SCENAR Therapy does not treat a disease - it restores health. SCENAR finds imbalances (asymmetries) in the body and treats them accordingly. SCENAR Therapy does not act upon just one specific part of the body or organ, but on the whole body. The sole purpose of SCENAR Therapy is to stimulate the body's own natural healing process, so your body can operate with maximum efficiency once again.
The large quantity of neuropeptides and C-fibres produced in the Central Nervous System during SCENAR Therapy can also result in the treatment on one area aiding the correction of chemical imbalances in other areas. This is why areas other than the one being treated can gain benefit, and even conditions such as sleeplessness, appetite and behavioural problems can be corrected.

Remedial Massage
Massage is the application (usually by hand) of systematic stroking or manipulation of the muscles and other soft tissues of the body for therapeutic purposes.
Remedial Massage is a holistic treatment that uses a wide range of specialized massage and diagnostic techniques to treat specific health issues. These issues include chronic and acute pain, dysfunction caused by musculoskeletal problems and injuries, rehabilitation after injuries, sporting and occupational injuries, RSI, and physical and mental fatigue.
The therapist seeks to identify the original biomechanical dysfunction causing the disorder, and then treat both the cause and the symptoms.
Massage is known to promote health and well-being and is probably the oldest healing discipline known to man.
Key Benefits of Remedial Massage include:
- Pain relief
- Supports and speeds-up the body's own repair mechanisms
- Stimulates the blood supply, allowing toxins in the muscles to be removed
- Promotes lymph flow, which hastens the elimination of cellular wastes
- Helps to clear the muscles of lactic and uric acid build-up during exercise
- Calms the peripheral nervous system to ease pain and discomfort
- Delays muscle atrophy resulting for inactivity
- Tones and relaxes muscles to improve joint mobility
- Helps to reduce inflammation and oedema in joints and soft tissue
- Improves the health of the cells, and the repairing of tissues
- Eases muscular stiffness and tension
- Relieves tension headaches
- Reduces fibrosis and scar tissue build-up
- Helps to improve symptoms, disease progression, and quality of life in HIV and terminal cancer patients
- Stimulates the immune system by increasing blood flow and lymph drainage
- Improves sleep
- Reduces anxiety and depression
Muscular and skeletal dysfunctions often addressed with remedial massage include muscle tightness and pain, arthritis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, whiplash, neck and back pain, scoliosis, headaches and sports injuries.
In summary, remedial massage assists the body's natural ability to heal itself. It relaxes and tones the muscles preventing injuries, increases circulation and therefore improves the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to all body cells. And above all, it makes you feels great!!!
Sport & Injury Treatment
Physical exercise has numerous benefits for all of us. Everyone should practice a regular exercise routine that is suited to the person’s level of health and fitness.
However, people who actively take part in competitive sport subject their bodies to a greater physical stress than do those who are less active. It is, therefore, important that sports people receive the appropriate support therapy to help in preparing and maintaining their bodies in the best possible condition. Serious active sports people need an ongoing pro-active treatment programme to optimize performance and to guard against succumbing to injuries, rather than only seeking treatment when injuries arise.
When is Sport & Injury Treatment used?
- Before training and competition - to develop the strength, flexibility and suppleness needed for the rigours of the physical activity. A body that feels loose and unrestricted is both physically and psychologically able to perform better.
- After training and competition - to assist the body to recover quickly and get rid of stiffness, soreness and tiredness.
- When injury occurs - to overcome the injury and get back into training and competition as quickly as possible. There is nothing more frustrating for sportspeople than to be prevented by injury from doing what they love doing. Our goal in the clinic is always to enable the injured person to return to activity as quickly as possible. However, sometimes it is necessary to advise the athlete to cease physical activity for a few days while the treatment takes effect. It is far better to have a few days with no training than to resume training too soon and end up being unable to train for a few weeks.
What methods are used in Sport & Injury Treatment?
There is no “one size fits all” method that is effective for all Sport & Injury Treatment. The specific treatment method used will be chosen according to the individual’s needs. Usually, a combination of treatment methods will be used to achieve the best results. This clinic is not restricted to only one mode of treatment and has many different methods that can be used. See a list of Our Services
Post Surgical Rehabilitation
Post Surgical Rehabilitation (PSR) is the use of a combination of specialized treatment techniques to enhance the healing process after surgery. Surgery is a traumatic experience, both mentally and physically, and patients want to bring their bodies back to full normal function as soon as possible. PSR helps our patients to recover faster and become stronger after surgery.
Physical therapy is important in regaining full function after surgery. The recovery process will be optimized by a programme of remedial exercises to supplement the clinic treatment provided. We help our patients ensure that they do their exercises and, most importantly, do them correctly. Only proper practice makes perfect!
The benefits of PSR include:
- Shortened recovery time and wound healing
- Reduction of swelling and keloid formation
- Reduction and healing of scar tissue and adhesions
- Restored mobility with normalized soft tissue & musculoskeletal function
- Proper posture and improved body mechanics for daily activities
- Positive emotional outcomes
Conditions that benefit from PSR include:
- Arthroscopies
- Oedema
- Bruising
- DVT (Deep vein thrombosis)
- Scar healing and repair
- ACL reconstructions
- Rotator cuff repairs
- ACL reconstructions
- Total joint replacements (shoulder, knee, hip)
- Carpal tunnel release
- Tennis elbow release
- Spinal laminectomy or fusion
- Achilles tendon repairs
- Quad and patella tendon repairs
Musculoskeletal Correction
Musculoskeletal Correction is a technique that restores a proper balance between the skeletal system and the muscles and other soft tissues.
How does it work?
The human body is aligned and moves because of the forces applied to the bones by the soft tissues. If we were to remove the soft tissues from the body, our skeleton would be just a random heap of bones on the ground.
No bone can move by itself. It is moved by the contraction and relaxation of muscles. For example, if we want to raise our forearm then the bicep muscle must contract and pull up the forearm, while to tricep muscle (the opposite or antagonist muscle) must relax. To lower the forearm, the bicep must relax, while the tricep contracts.
If the musculoskeletal system is out of balance we end up with bad posture and bones not sitting where they belong. The body is gracious and sometimes is able to compensate for these imbalances and we are unaware of it. However, if the imbalance is not corrected then, eventually, the body needs to let us know that all is not how it should be. That message comes to us in the form of dysfunction and pain!
Musculoskeletal correction technique is used to cause muscles and other soft tissues to move and thereby restore the displaced bone structure to where it belongs. The correction is achieved by the practitioner applying very gentle pressure to specific points on the patient’s body, sometimes accompanied by precise movements made by the patient’s body.
What is it used for?
Any condition that is a result of musculoskeletal misalignment. Some of the conditions most frequently treated with this technique include:
- Neck, shoulder and back pain
- Headaches
- Pelvic imbalances
- Postural imbalances
- Ankle dysfunction, including displacement of the talus bone
What are the benefits?
- Gentle and painless procedure
- Quick technique
- Effective, long-lasting results
Dorn Spinal Therapy
Dorn Spinal Therapy is a gentle, effective and safe vertebrae and joint treatment to correct misalignments of the spinal column and other joints. The method is based on the natural laws of physics and anatomy and combines traditional Chinese medicine principles with Western medicine techniques and principles.
Dorn Spinal Therapy was developed by Dieter Dorn in Germany during the 1970s for relief of back pain, and has become an increasingly popular procedure as more and more patients find relief. With a history of over 30 years, no harm has been reported as a consequence of Dorn treatment.
- It is the leading back pain treatment in Europe used by doctors, naturopaths and physiotherapists. It is now available in Australia to help those suffering from back pain and other spine-related pain.
- It is a gentle spinal and joint treatment used to work on back problems, joint problems, and organ problems and headaches caused by a wrongly placed vertebra or hip/apparent leg length imbalances.
- Treatment is non-manipulative and joints and vertebrae slip back into their correct natural position through self-determined movements of the patient.
- It is a low repetition therapy. Often with the alignment of just a single vertebra and the balancing of the hip/leg length, the patient will gain relief from back and neck pain or headaches and related discomforts.
- It is a holistic concept. Pain in areas other than in the one being treated can often also get relief through the stimulus of the meridian and nerve systems of the body.
- It offers a new treatment option for many cases of so far unsuccessfully treated back and neck problems.
- It is a treatment you should consider before opting for disc surgery, spinal fusion surgery or any other spinal surgery on your back.
How does Dorn Spinal Therapy work?
- No medication is used.
- Body movement is a fundamental element in the treatment. All corrections happen dynamically; the patient swings either a leg, arm or moves the head, depending on the area the therapist is working on. The movement distracts the muscles so they can´t resist the correction. This feature makes the treatment a gentle therapy.
- By aligning the body, skeletal structure muscle tension is released and muscles can move into their correct, relaxed position. In this way, for example, a sore upper or lower trapezius can be relieved by aligning the upper or lower cervical and thoracic spine. Lower back pain or sciatic pain can be relieved by balancing the hips and correcting different apparent leg lengths.
- The treatment kick-starts the body’s own healing process. So it is not about the practitioner fixing the problem; it is about the body starting to work with the new information set through the treatment.
- The therapist will find and work on tender points the patient was unaware of, and this will potentially speed the healing process. This is why so few treatments are usually needed.
How will Dorn Spinal Therapy help you?
- The treatment is immediately effective in many cases. It gives great value for investment, because few treatments can often give long lasting results.
- Even the most serious chronic cases often get fast relief.
- Hardly any pain is produced during the treatment. Since pain threshold is vital information that causes our body to stop movement, we never go beyond it. Some light pain can´t be avoided completely but, as soon as it is too much, the therapist stops working on that particular part. Further work on that pain-inducing area will be resumed later.
- Dorn is ideal for the prevention of back problems in children and young adults.
- Unlike chiropractic adjustments, Dorn Spinal Therapy does not use sudden movements but works with constant movement of the patient. Patients appreciate the gentle Dorn approach. Also because the patient is a vital part of the treatment, the patient feels more responsible for his or her own aftercare, and will usually take any prescribed exercises more seriously. This factor helps to speed up the healing process.
What is Dorn used for?
Dorn Spinal Therapy has most often been used for:
- Back and neck pain
- Sciatica, scoliosis
- Hip, jaw and knee problems
- Pins and needles
- Headaches
Increasingly, Dorn is being used for treating conditions directly or indirectly affected by the spinal column, where vertebrae are misaligned or blocked, eg:
- Tinnitus, vertigo, earache
- Infertility, PMS
- Asthma, visual problems
- Hypertension
- Digestive problems
Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy is a holistic and multi-dimensional approach to pain relief and healing that has achieved remarkable results over the past 50 years. It is based on the recognition by Tom Bowen, its originator, who lived and practised in Geelong, Victoria, that the underlying cause or source of many musculoskeletal, neurological, neuromuscular and other health or pain problems could be found in the soft tissue or fascia.
Fascia is a specific type of connective tissue that forms a three-dimensional web surrounding every tissue in the body. Fascia is the body organizer embracing all nerves, bones, arteries, veins and muscles. Therefore, fascial dysfunction can affect every structure, muscle, nerve and organ in the body. Fascia has become the subject of increasing research and recent studies have shown it to be the largest sensory organ in the body. It is rich in a range of receptors that powerfully influence the body's neuro-muscular physiology in many and complex ways.
How does Bowen Therapy work?
Bowen Therapy, through specific soft tissue or fascial release and integration techniques, stimulates specific receptors that enable the body itself to correct dysfunctions and restore homeostasis (balance) on a holistic level. Through treating the cause, rather than the symptoms, Bowen Therapy has consistently shown it can bring profound permanent healing and pain relief. This relief is experienced by many people who present with a wide range of painful conditions, even where other modalities of treatment have given little improvement.
Importantly, Bowen Therapy, being holistic, does not rely on a detailed diagnosis of the problem and its origins, which is often costly and indeterminate. Bowen Therapy treats the whole body, and its holistic effects are apparent in patients who find resolution to problems above and beyond those for which they have sought treatment, for example lack of energy, stress and emotional issues. Bowen does not interfere with the effectiveness of other treatment disciplines.
Emmett Technique
Emmett Technique is a highly sophisticated neuro-muscular hands-on therapy. It is used to treat a wide variety of muscular problems, relieving pain and realigning the body.
Emmett Technique was developed over many years by Ross Emmett, a remedial therapist with a clinic based in North Queensland. As the clinic was located in the Australian Outback, many of the patients who visited were people who worked on remote mines or cattle stations. These people were limited in the amount of time they could spend receiving treatment, but the Emmett Technique delivered them the relief they required.
Ross drew upon his innate ability to adapt his treatment to suit each individual patient’s needs and, consequently, Emmett Technique became known as the chameleon approach.
A qualified Emmett practitioner must be equipped with the skills to observe a person’s body and determine the necessary treatment, and to apply techniques derived from NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) to achieve optimum patient results.
How does Emmett Technique work?
Treatment involves applying light pressure to neuro-muscular activation points in sequences that unlock muscle memory and correct muscular dysfunction. This activation gives the brain the opportunity to re-evaluate the initial activator that created the neuro-muscular problem for the patient, thus bringing about a correct muscular and skeletal balance, improved range of movement and pain relief. In many cases, the treated dysfunction will have existed for a number of years.
Emmett Technique can be used as an effective adjunct to enhance the treatment value of other types of muscle release and neuro-musculoskeletal therapy, or may be used as very effective therapy on its own.
Emmett is a very powerful and exciting therapy and amazing, almost instantaneous, results have been obtained with this treatment. Emmett Technique is now being taught and utilized in many countries around the world.
What is Emmett Technique useful for?
Emmett addresses pain and dysfunction associated with conditions that include:
- Frozen shoulder
- Neck pain (including whiplash)
- Migraines, sinus, jaw misalignment
- Arm and wrist pain and restriction (including RSI and Carpel Tunnel)
- Sciatica and lower back pain
- Poor posture
- Respiratory problems
- Coccyx discomfort
- Abdominal discomfort
- Pelvic discomfort
- Leg, knee and ankle pain
- Fluid retention
- Body balance
- Stress relief
- Muscle stiffness
- Sporting Injuries
Homotoxicology
Homotoxicology was founded in 1952 by Dr. Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg. He started with the principles of classical Homoeopathy as developed by Hahnemann, and integrated them with the new discoveries in biochemistry and embryology that had been made by the 1940’s. The medications, which he formulated, are derived from: the enzyme systems of the body, allopathic medicines, extensive nosode preparations, and the more traditional homoeopathic remedies.
Homoeopathy is a method of medical treatment designed to stimulate the body's own healing processes in order to cure illnesses. It is based upon the discovery that a substance in small doses may alleviate symptoms similar to those it causes at higher doses. The phrase "likes are cured by likes" is often used to describe a basic concept behind homoeopathy.
Thus, the two cornerstones of homoeopathy are that "likes are cured by likes," and that the remedies are properly diluted to eliminate or minimize their toxic effects.
Homotoxicology is a sophisticated modern form of homoeopathy that is a bridge between orthodox medicine, which has a focus on tissue integrity, and homoeopathy which has a focus on the systemic effects of imbalance within the person.
Homotoxicology is the most prescribed form of natural medicine In Germany. There it has been used for over 50 years and is practised by conventional doctors and natural therapists alike. In Germany, 80% of orthodox doctors prescribe homoeopathic or antihomotoxic preparations for their patients. The efficacy and safety of homotoxicology is supported by close to 100 clinical trials. (Scientific trials on one product, Traumeel, have shown it to be as effective as a COX 2 inhibitor, without the potential side effects of gastric bleeding.)
Homotoxicology provides health care solutions which may be used alone or used to complement orthodox treatment without drug interactions.
How are diseases caused?
In homotoxicology, diseases are considered to be ultimately caused by toxins, whether toxic chemicals, bacterial exotoxins, biological endotoxins, post-traumatic cellular debris and also byproducts of the bodies metabolic processes. Dr Reckeweg defined homotoxins as substances that are harmful to the human body.
Disease symptoms are said to be the result of the defensive effort of body to eliminate the toxins, and should not necessarily be suppressed. In minor, self-limiting disorders, the body does this unaided. In more serious situations, treatment is needed. If the treatment used eliminates the homotoxins, then real healing results. If the treatment suppresses the omotoxins, however, (antibiotics, steroids; most drugs) then they go deeper into the tissues and manifest after a latent period as a more destructive disease, and may lead to chronic degenerative disease.
How do Homotoxicological products work?
Homotoxicological products are designed to work with the body's defence mechanisms and facilitate the body's elimination of toxic substances and to stimulate the body’s inherent capacity to heal itself. They do not suppress symptoms.
Homotoxicolocy is used to treat a wide range of chronic and acute health conditions including:
- Pain and inflammatory conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, bursitis, acute sprain, sports injuries and headaches.
- Obesity, adrenal exhaustion, anaemia, chronic fatigue syndrome.
- Skin ageing, cellulite, and spider veins.
- Gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders, including heartburn, nausea, diarrhoea, and constipation.
- Psychological issues, e.g. stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia.
- Female and male hormonal anomalies, including menopausal symptoms, PMS, fibroids, endometriosis and fertility issues.
- Immune system and allergy disorders including viral and bacterial infections, bronchitis, allergies, asthma, sinusitis, and chronic candidiasis,
- Skin disorders including acne, psoriasis, and eczema.
- Paediatric Illnesses and ADD/ADHD
- Autoimmune diseases including lupus, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis,
- Endocrine disorders including hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and diabetes.
- It is also an effective and safe complementary cancer treatment postoperatively, promoting immune defence and detoxification mechanisms and counteracting the side effects of radiation and chemotherapy.
Homotoxicological products come in tablets, liquid vials, oral drops, creams, gels and injection solutions.
Homotoxicological remedies and preparations usually have practically no side effects and may easily be combined with other medications when required. This is important for chronically ill patients who, due to their various ailments, are frequently required to take several medications at the same time.
Biomesotherapy
Biomesotherapy is a technique used in Homotoxicology that combines two well-proven healing methods - acupuncture and homoeopathy. Although this therapy is new to Australia, it has been used in Germany (and progressively in the rest of the world) for many decades and the name biomesotherapy came into being in the mid-1990’s. In some countries this therapy is called biopuncture.
Biomesotherapy combines the use of homotoxicological products with the stimulation of acupuncture points, trigger points and pain points in the body with a saline solution.
How does Biomesotherapy work?
Biomesotherapy stimulates the body's self healing capacities, relaxes muscles and normalizes body system imbalances.
The stimulation of specific points and the administration of homotoxicological products have a synergistic effect of sustained release acupuncture, as well as allowing the homotoxicological remedies instant access to the patient’s matrix where maximal efficacy can be quickly achieved.
A saline solution is inserted subcutaneously to stimulate the extracellular matrix, stimulate deeper organ systems and quickly direct the action of the homoeopathic medicine to the specific site where it is required.
How is Biomesotherapy performed?
A homotoxicological remedy is given under the tongue via a small spray bottle to gain quick absorption into the blood stream. The solution given is selected for a specific organ or tissue type.
Using an Inject Ease auto-injector device, a fine needle containing less than 1ml of sterile saline solution (exactly the same as the body’s fluid composition) is placed superficially into trigger, acupuncture and pain points.
Does it hurt?
With the Inject Ease device, the needles used are very fine and short. In most cases, no discomfort is felt by the patient. Most people are surprised at how easily and quickly the injections are given.
What is Biomesotherapy useful for?
Biomesotherapy is useful for many types of conditions, but it is especially used for acute and chronic pain, and has been shown to be comparable to cortisone therapy without the added side effects.
Conditions treated include muscular pain, arthritis, lower back pain, neck pain, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, ankle sprain, sciatica, fibromyalgia, bone spurs, and accelerated recovery from sports injury. The British athlete, Linford Christie, credited biomesotherapy for healing a career-threatening back injury in 1992, and enabling him to go on and win the Olympic Games 100m gold medal in Barcelona.
More than 20 years of experience in Europe confirm that biomesotherapy provides alleviation of pain, inhibition of inflammation, increased circulation, muscle relaxation, fine nerve endings repair and stimulation of the body’s own healing mechanisms, thus speeding up the process of injury recovery.
Safety and efficiency of Biomesotherapy
Practitioners of Biomesotherapy adhere to strict technical guidelines. They have a duty of care as a professional clinician, which involves using correct technique and sterile disposable material.
The products used in Biomesotherapy meet strict Australian Standards established by the TGA. The diluted natural medicines commonly used contain no impurities, additives or preservatives.
VoiceBio Analysis
The sound of our voice can tell us much about what is going on in the body. We have all listened to someone talking, either face to face or on the phone, and thought that this person is angry, tired, stressed, excited, happy, sad, etc. Without any special training it is fairly easy for anyone to identify such characteristics with the human ear.
Now with the cutting-edge science of VoiceBio technology, based on quantum physics, it is possible to determine just what is really going on within the body.
Sound Therapy has come of age. In the early 1990s, Kae Thompson-Liu, a naturopath and health researcher, was led to the power of sound, frequency and energetic fields through numerous pioneers in energy medicine. After taking a variety of courses in this field, Kae found that none of them gave her the tools, safety and reliability she required. In frustration, she abandoned these practices and invented her own proprietary VoiceBio© system.
VoiceBio is known and respected worldwide as an incredible energetic assessment tool, due to its pain-free, non-invasive process, accuracy, speed, ease of use, affordability, reliability and extent of the information provided. VoiceBio lets our voice tell us what our body already knows.
How does VoiceBio analysis work?
We could be forgiven for thinking the human voice consists of one sound that is distinctive from person to person. In reality the voice sound we hear is actually a composite of 12 individual sound frequencies. It is the blend of these 12 frequencies that gives each person’s voice its distinctive sound quality.
The sound of the voice represents the composite frequencies of the human body. Each emotion, organ, gland and system of the human body has its own frequency that resonates to particular nutrients, minerals and vibrations required for their function. There are 12 keynote frequencies in the body corresponding to the 12 notes of the chromatic musical scale. As an example, the colon vibrates to the note of B, the liver to the note of G, and the adrenal glands to the note of Eb.
In a relaxed 5-minute conversation with the VoiceBio practitioner, the patient speaks into a microphone which is connected through a special interface box to a computer. Not a single word spoken is recorded, but the computer uses sophisticated software to analyse the sound frequencies produced by the patient’s voice.
VoiceBio accurately examines frequency patterns in the body, showing which tonal frequencies are either heavy (overworked or exhausted) or weak (stagnant or not working).
From an assessment of the information processed through the computer, the VoiceBio practitioner is better informed to determine the most appropriate method of treatment needed to restore the health of you, the patient.

- You want to be able to fit into that lovely outfit that used to look so good on you.
- You’re tired of always feeling tired.
- Your doctor has warned you that your body will not continue to stand up to many years of neglect.
- You’d like to be fit enough to play with the children or grandchildren.
- You want to become involved, or more involved, in active sport.
- You just realize that you have been neglecting your body for far too long.
Whatever your reasons for making the change for the better, we can help you.
Who is Health & Fitness Training suitable for?
Everybody! Young or old, active or inactive capacity, we can all benefit from an appropriate health & fitness programme. The training programmes we provide are specifically to match individual needs and capabilities.
What does a Health & Fitness Training programme include?
Regardless of whether you have never previously considered looking after your health and fitness, or if you are already a committed fitness addict, there are certain basic elements that should form a part of any successful health and fitness programme. These essentials include:
Aerobic Fitness
Aerobic exercise enables you to breathe faster and more deeply, thereby maximizing the amount of oxygen in your blood. The better your aerobic fitness, the more efficiently your heart, lungs and blood vessels will transport oxygen throughout your body. Then it will be easier for you to complete routine daily physical tasks and to meet unexpected challenges, such as running to your car in the pouring rain.
Aerobic exercise is any physical activity that uses large muscle groups and increases your heart rate, eg walking, jogging, bike riding, swimming, dancing, even gardening and housework.
Muscular Fitness
Muscular strength training can help you to reduce your body fat, increase your lean muscle mass and burn calories more efficiently. Stronger muscles will also protect your joints from injury and boost your stamina.
We can teach you some simple, fun, routines that will strengthen your muscles.
Stretching
Most aerobic and strength training activities cause your muscles to contract and flex. For balance in your fitness program, it's important also to stretch your muscles. Stretching can increase your flexibility, improves the range of motion of your joints, and promote better posture and circulation. Regular stretching can even relieve stress and help prevent injury, especially if your muscles or joints are tight.
These benefits from stretching only apply if you stretch the correct way. We will show you how to stretch properly, and it will not hurt!
Core Stability
The muscles in your abdomen, lower back and pelvis (known as your core muscles) support balance and provide stability. The strengthening of your core muscles is essential, and we can show you some easy ways to achieve this, including sitting with good posture on a fitness ball.
Nutrition and Diet
You wouldn’t think of trying to run your car on the wrong fuel. If your car has a petrol engine, you will use petrol, not dishwater! Yet how many people try to make their bodies run on the wrong fuel? Filling our bodies with junk food is the equivalent of pouring dishwater into the petrol tank.
We can help you to choose the right diet for you, and the food will be enjoyable and nourishing. You can become healthier and lose those unwanted kilos in the process.
Rest
Adequate rest and recovery is a vital ingredient in any health, fitness and exercise programme.
When we exercise, if we have not yet recovered from the previous exercise session, we will progressively wear-out the body and become progressively worse, not better.
We will, therefore, plan your programme so that the intensity of your exercise will enable you to recover properly before the next work-out, provided that you get the sleep that you need.
Athletics Coaching
Michael has always been actively involved in health, fitness and sport. He is an athlete himself, specializing in distance running, having begun his athletics career at the age of eleven. He still trains daily and has competed at international level.
Michael is a Level 4 Track & Field Coach, accredited by the Australian Track & Field Coaches Association. He holds qualifications to coach all track & field athletics events, but he specializes in middle-distance and distance running. Michael coaches athletes from beginner level up to international representation standard.
Training programmes for athletes are tailored to meet the age, ability and stage of development of each individual athlete. For the young athlete, it is important to recognize that children are not mini adults and their training needs are quite different from those of senior athletes. International-level athletes require a very different approach to their training, so that they can be appropriately prepared for the intense high level of competition they will encounter.
With his combined background as an athlete himself, his coaching qualifications, and his clinical expertise, Michael is able to offer a unique comprehensive approach to the training and development of athletes. Through expert coaching athletes are prepared to train and compete successfully in their events. Through the work carried out in the clinic, the athlete’s body is maintained in the best possible condition to try to avoid injuries and to deal quickly with any injury problems, should they occur.
